How to Redeem Codes

Important: no code menu is verified yet

Keep the Door Locked does not currently have a verified public promo-code system. As a result, there is no confirmed button path or text field to document. This guide explains how to check safely if that changes; it does not claim that a Codes button already exists.

Do not follow a video that tells you to paste a code into the Roblox website, browser console, executor, or a third-party form. Official Roblox game codes are normally redeemed inside the experience itself. They never require a password, a .ROBLOSECURITY cookie, a download, a paid key, or a request to “verify” your account outside Roblox.

Safe way to check after an announcement

If Hotel Room Services announces a Keep the Door Locked reward code, join the official Keep the Door Locked game page through Roblox. Update the game first so the live server can contain the newest interface. Then look through the ordinary in-game menus for a clearly labelled Codes, Promo Codes, Gift, Rewards, Settings, Shop, or inventory option.

A legitimate code screen should be part of the game’s normal UI. Enter a code exactly as the official announcement presents it, including any numbers, capitalization, or punctuation. Submit it once and read the in-game message. A successful redemption should state the reward or visibly add it to the appropriate balance or inventory. Take a screenshot if you are reporting a new code so its result can be checked.

If no entry field appears, stop there. It may mean the feature has not launched, the announcement was for a different game, or the server needs an update. Rejoining a current server is reasonable; downloading a tool or sharing account information is not.

What to do when a code fails

First, compare the spelling with the official post. Copying invisible spaces from a comment can make a valid code fail, so typing it manually may help. Next, confirm that the code was announced for Keep the Door Locked, not another hotel- or door-themed Roblox game. DOORS codes are unrelated and cannot be redeemed here.

An “invalid” response may indicate a typo, an expired code, or a code that was never real. A message that says “already redeemed” usually means the same Roblox account has already claimed it. Do not create alternate accounts or pay another player to obtain a reward; the developer’s rules and Roblox rules still apply.

Where to verify information

Use the Codes hub as the first check for an active, tested list. It will explain any confirmed redemption path when one exists. The expired codes page records codes that are no longer usable, so you can avoid repeatedly testing old entries. For release changes that might add a reward system, watch patch notes and events.

The official links page contains the only confirmed game and group links currently available. If a post advertises a Discord, Trello, code generator, or external claim site that is not linked there, treat it as unverified. You can still enjoy the experience without codes: see the Getting Started guide, Players, Tier List, and Tools for the wiki’s other sections.

When this guide will change

Once an official code field and a live code can be tested, this page will be updated with the precise menu route, button names, screenshots or wording where appropriate, and the reward confirmation. Until then, an honest “not verified” status protects players better than invented instructions.
